Lately I am having thoughts that I am old and geting older every day. It follows that I cannot rely on my od strategies for business thinking.
That od way can be stated as:
- Do whatever you feel urged to do.
- Get as much money from the client as you can
- Become the center of power
It worked before. This is the way the world operates. I knew how to play my political games. At the end it is not I lost the game, it was always self-sabotage for me to get the next lesson. Again this was my old business strategy: get the job, leanr all I need to and exit.
However now I feel this is now outmoded.
The main reason being that I am older. Next year I will touch 50. In 10 years I will be 60.
Being in a slow and small country like Nepal I still amassed enough wealth and got incredible experience in business that is no less than having worked in the USA. So i have no regrets.
However now i must adapt a new strategy like:
- stay in big , very big for their setor organizations for 10 years
- take less pay and leverage on free time and less power
- camouflage my power
- make things happen being hidden
- don’t cause havoc or opposition like the frog slowly being boiled with increasingly hot water
I guess this is my future for the coming 10 years.
