Before me and you, billions of people were born and died. It seems this has made us a bit wiser.
Is our sense of purpose simply an illusion, a by-product of an advanced brain ?
Are we really as pathetic as helpless souls in the journey of existence ? Like Steve Jobs , a billionaire who couldn’t be stopped except by death and then that is the end.
Should we seek to be like Jesus then who died with nothing & no one but who within a thousand years has billion of followers amounting to infinite wealth & power beyond that of any billionaire or political leader ? But does the soul of Jesus know ? Most likely it doesn’t.
Mao , Hitler , Stalin , Saddam , Osama : all died after creating havoc. what did they get as a soul ?
Some old man is dying now surrounded by loving family. Has his soul got more than another old man dying now too but alone and in huge debt ?
They would call me an ‘old soul’ .
To me this life is the quest for an eternal continuum for the soul instead of its transition in various lifeforms. Can it be done?
What do I want!
1. Live a happy family life
2. Live till 100 years in fitness & health
3. Have a career that uses my natural talents & makes me the richest billionaire by 80
4. After I die, remain in Samadhi in the full view of other living beings since that time onwards .
5. Begin a new lineage of people like me although I don’t know what that means at this point except it is a modern version of Buddhism
These blogs are getting more flamboyant but to me they are grounded in certitude .
If one day anyone reads this one they will either say I was mad or I was a visionary.
60 years from now , one of 2 things will pass : I will be proven delusional & wrong or magical & right.
