Anger management by reflection

Anger is as that human beings face.  Not only us but animals too face this problem.  Sometimes i wonder how life would be nice if we did not have to get angry.  Hey come to think of it.  What a very dfferent kind of world it would be if no one knew how to get angry.  Again you might say, anger is not a skill, it is a defect.

So what is anger?  Is it like a column breaking under too much load or is like a the fluids ejected by various animals to protec themselves.

If it is the former then anger is an inherant weakness.  if it is the former, it is a inherant strength.

But let us be frank.  How many times can we claim that our anger did good?  Very few, may be one burst of anger in 1000.

When was the last time you got angry?  Go back at that time.  Imagine the same incident, the same triggers, but a very different reaction.  One that is calm, pacifying, and simply not angry.  What would have been the outcome?

Definitely, it would have been much less painful than it actually was.

So i leave the rest of the imagining to you.  So next time you get triggered to anger, think again of a time when you will regret your anger.  It will help you get over the burst and kill the volcanic eruption.

In case you couldn’t stop yourself, then start with the reflection and try once again.  You will immediately better.

When you are angry you don’t feel good.  I am a writer and writing doesnt’ flow when i am angry.  But as soon as you reflect on an alternative course of action, then it is a much better feeling.
