When hatred overwhelms…

One of the worst feelings in life is to have to hate someone one should be loving in terms of social relationship.  I think you got what I mean.  For example, a son in relation to a parent, a husband in relation to a wife, an employee in relation to a boss.

Why we hate in the first place?  It is because we did not get what we expected from that person. Why is that person not fulfilling our expectations?

We think it is because they don’t care about us or are witholding like savings.  But that can’t be true.  In fact it is not the truth.  The fact is one of the following:

1.  That person doesn’t have that thing you expected anymore

2.  That person can’t give you what you expect because of other more pressing priorities

If you have a good smell, you can’t refrain from spreading good aroma around.  If you have bad smell, you cant’ refrain from spreading bad aroma around.

The person we are expecting from doesn’t have what we desire.  Expecting in such a case, that is after asking many times, is like expecting a corpse to walk. It dead.  It can’t walk.

Part of us die every time.  We expect things from that that part of the other person that might have died.  Isn’t have crazy?

Crying over someone’s death is called grief.

Crying because expectations are not met by a living person is called resentment.

What we are talking about is resentment.

Now i taught you how to overcome resentment.  Simply remember, the part of the person that would fulfill your expectation might be maimed, disturbed, sick or even dead.

Don’t waste life in resentment.  I chose not to.  What about you?
