What kind of tourist are you?

I am almost shocked when I see tourists in my country, behaving as if every locals were there to swindle them.  I don’t see the point of travelling if you have not going to mix with locals, interact with them. 

 

However so many tourists can’t be fools.  So I derived that there are three types of tourists:

1. those who come to experience nature in the new location
2. those who come for adventure with nature
3. those who come to mix with locals and see the world in a new perspective
4. those who come to mix with a selected segment of the local population
5. those who come to hide and be alone
6. those who have fun with friends in a new environment
7. those who come to escape from the reality back home
8. those who come to see the world
9. those who come to reflect and contemplate
10. those who come to get lost

 

Which type of tourist are you?

 

Myself I am type (3) and (9)

 

So I realize I can’t disrespect other kinds of tourists.  They are just different.
