We as a population have matured. First of all the election that was envisioned six months back has become a reality today. It goes on to prove we dont live in a nation without people at the helm who have authority and power to execute visions.
This election is more than constitution assembly but it Is a renewal in the faith of Nepali people that god has not forsaken this place and that determination is still alive at the top.
This Is a source of power for those below. lt is a power born of renewed hope and rekindled chance to Dream and to aspire.
It is irrelevant who wlns. The Nepali is now disillusioned. what matters Is that all work In harmony.
The lines are getting longer.
We Nepalis are beginning to grow as a nation and grow out of our secular rutes:some of ethnicity, some of Social class,some of religion and some of politics.
Mohan Baidya’s attempt to foil the election seemed like the necessary villain in an action movie. He had to happen for Nepal to grow up as a nation. His actions were like a vaccine to polio.
However he lost more than gained.
Bad karma will follow us wherever we go. Dont think that just because you were not recognized being part of a mob during Nepal Banda , vandalizing vehicles and stopping life, god hasnt seen you. Every action will bear fruit: either sweet or bitter.
Also just because you are protected by a constituency of democracy and the police have not caught you for giving orders to kill, mutate, pillage, disrupt millions of lives, doesnt mean god will not punish you. Intention is as bad or good as action. You intended to damage as a bargaining chip. In cosmic terms also it is an action. If not now or this year such people will get the fruit of their intentions and actions within a lifetime.
Election day is leaping towards success despite all the villains. It is like a typical story.
Where to from here no one knows but for once those in power seem to have regretted their past misdeeds.
we are a hopeful nation with strong values of virtue and sin. Leaders tried to erase those values but that is impossible as they are finding. Ideology doesnt matter. virtue must be promoted and sin subdued.
Election or making it happen was virtue.
It really inspires us.
Now it is proven politically that there is hope.
