Life’s like the Sahara Desert

Life is a mountain that needs to be climbed many have said.  There was this crazy motivator who says, “no life is like a desert”.  Life is not static waiting to be climbed.  Instead it is a terrain that changes everyday like the sand dunes.

Lately i have come to see life in the second perspective.

I have achieved so much success, glory and admiration, i think it is more than a man needs in a life time and my life has not even started: i’m 35.  What people are lucky to do when they retire, i have been able to achieve before i can say i reached the pinnacle of career.

What am i moving towards and away from?  It is no longer clear.

On the way, i see people thinking they are climbing a mountain, only to realize that the next day it doesn’t exist.  Still they keep climbing an illusion.  This is how businesses go bust.  Many of my clients have taken to this ill-fate.  They take me as a vendor but not as a consultant: they are like my agents.  I wish they took management consulting from me, for their own good.  But they are heading in the direction of doom: i see it and it is sad.

I see clearly.  As a result i made almost no faux-pas at strategic level.  To that end, one needs clear vision.  That is given my mediative mind.  But who believes that and the entrepreneurs just keep breeding their ambition and greed.  Alas…
