Duty above all

People tend to think doing your duty is an option. I mean if they like they’ll do their duty. If not they won’t. If they’re treated well they’ll do it if not they’ll not. To most people duty is conditional.

Then it’s not a duty but a job. When a job becomes a duty it won’t matter if you like it or not; if you’re treated well or not. Under any negative circumstances you’ll do your duty.

When one is able to line in such a state then one has achieved something exceptional. Only few people reach that state. It’s like climbing mount Everest. The mountain doesn’t like you or treat you well. Yet the mountaineer continues driven by ambition. If he persists till the top, the reward is so big you can’t imagine it now.

I’ve been on the top and slowly the rewards are coming. But they are so immense I can’t fully comprehend them.

So yes duty above all.
