This is where in lies the essence of spiritual prowess so required to lead.

Reflection makes our minds pause. This is crucial to create a momentum. It’s like giving a booster to an engine.

I prescribe one hour of reflection per day, one hour of contemplation per day.

For no other reasons that they can make mistakes that if made later on would cost them great monetary loss, defamation, and unto others great pain, disillusionment and crisis.

I started project work in class one with a school play. in those days it was called extra carricula activities. I was shy, but played my role. Imagine I was shy in my first job. Because of that activity, in my first job I wasn’t shy but I directly got into play, asked my role and if no one told I figured out how I could contribute. It was possible as a teenager I lead projects with no guidance.

But then I made mistakes like being over ambitious, simply forgetting important components, being emotional, being biased, cheating and almost every possible mistakes that cause companies and nations to fail.

When I was young, I prided in that I never missed anyone or anything. I was strong in my eyes. I could be abroad for long time but I would not miss home. I could break up friendship but I’d not miss that person. A time of my life would end like school days, but I’d not miss those days. As time passes families leave for another house, abroad or heaven but I’d not miss them.

But now nearing my forties, I am beginning to experience missing, more and more.

I’m few one who found their calling and got to use it.

it’s hard to say how it would have gone had we made the other choice: if we spoke, what would have happened if we didn’t and if we didn’t speak, what if we did.

It’s like choosing a route while driving. if you got in a jam you wonder, what if you had taken the other route?

But my take on this is to choose the action which resonates in my heart. In this way even if the outcome is negative, your heart will find a creative solution.

When does a man arrive? Today I feel I’ve come close. But to what? Not knowing the answer to this question is the essence of living, being human.

The water taste sweeter, the wind hits me with divine like vibrations, the air smells like spring, the colors of nature seem more soothing, the roads seem empty as for me, the temperature seems just fine like in ac, the noise of society seems like chirping birds, my wife seems more adorable, my child seems like a great man in the making, my room seems like a himalayan cave of seclusion, the shower and my bathing seemed like massage.

Inside of me, I feel like an unruly storm stopped, like a cobra now dancing to my tune, like a pure virgin, like the wise hermit at the top the mountain of time-space, like a juicy cake oozing with bliss, like unshackable, like a repository of genius, like an oasis in the desert of modern civilization, like in control.

My mind see s many things in a perfect framework that I’ve been developing since I was 17. I’m like a painter adding details to my framework. It has evolved over time but I know I’ve brought the raw framework from a past life and my parents, combined with hindu/buddhist/american literature of this life.

Certainly such feelings of arriving are not permanent because a great man never stops challenging himself. I’ll find another mountain to climb, a sea to cross, a desert to pass.

But I still am not sure where I arrived although I am affirmative I’ve arrived because all the symptoms are there.

If you don’t know what I mean, think of the, you were dating your current spouse. At that time, the feeling you arrived helped you stay in the relationship and tie the knot. Was it not for that feeling few would enter into marriage.

So you’ve arrived too like me.

All you need now is to try to arrive at higher planes of attainment.

Most get mad at those protestors of nepal banda for making life miserable for the rest of us.

They come on the road as though they owned the streets for that day. They stop all vehicles and smash them if the driver is not submissive to their authority. They shout in the streets to draw attention as if going on war. They have a mission that is to administer the rule of nepal banda: nothing using fuel should get on the road. They even make cyclist walk their bicycles. It’s a funny sight and I too was to submit to this hilarious act of enforcement one time.

They don’t care if your sick and you need to go to the hospital. They don’t care if you ve got a plane to catch. They don’t care if you will miss the exams. They sure couldn’t care if you missed a day s work.

They are proud of having done their duty to give misery to all.

In exchange of what? Opportunity to be noticed by political leaders, a few rupees, and an advance on any favor to ask?

But mainly it’s not the material reward they do it for. It’s an emotional void they lack. they have so low self esteem that they feel empowered by getting on the street and making an impact, for once in their meaningless lives.

Which healthy individual asks a cycle rider to come down his bike and walk instead of cycling? If I came with a horse they would force me to carry it on my shoulders, I’m sure.

their psychological make up is debatable. But so of their karmic debt they will carry.

Have you ever caused a jam for a few minutes? You know how bad the vibrations sent by others feel. Have you ever un intentionally caused pain on another? After knowing what your action s did, you feel guilt. But even if you don’t feel remorse on either occasions, you would carry karmic debt that you need to pay.

You will get hampered, your life will face unexpected hindrances. if you are wise you will see causation between the two events.

Don’t tell me that these protestors are above the karmic law of retribution. Not even great yogis are.

you can break the law of the nation and think a political party will be responsible but you can’t escape the law of karma that holds you responsible to whatever degree your actions caused harm.

These people are cursed by all. In this life, blessings are not enough to succeed, what to expect with so many curses.

So I pity them.

Plus many bad karma of those they have caused pain, will be transfered to their account. That’s another law of karma.

Living in nepal is a mixture of blessing and blessing in disguise.

Today the nepali people are celebrating “nepal bandha”. It’s been quite a while there wasn’t a free holiday like this. That’s how people take this. At least it’s one day less of pollution in a year. Others will take it as an opportunity to spend time with their families. To many it doesn’t make a difference. To people taking loans from the bank and depending on daily revenue to pay back would be a bit deprived by loss of market and no staff to do the work. But it’s just one day less of profit: no big deal.

In short all have developed a positive attitude towards nepal banda.

Look at it this way, we don’t have forest fires, tornadoes, tsunamis, destructive earthquakes, wars , stock market crashes. It’s otherwise a peaceful place. So if there wasn’t a day when all stopped, then it wouldn’t be natural, isn’t it?

To foreigners who don’t know, nepal banda means a day called by political parties top stop vehicles moving in the streets.

politics is at the root of this event but why? They say it is to attract attention to an issue.

But with the constitution assembly failing to materialize it’s an attempt to divert attention of the mass from that issue to other irrelevant issues.

It’s a well played trick but it’s time politicians became more creative and found a new more efficient political tool to divert attention.

Being appreciated for being a man, in the physical sense is becoming rarer in current days because women don’t have the time for such things. But mainly it’s the thining line between the two genders in every field. the definition of being a man or a woman has become more difficult to give.

Sometimes I just miss being bare manly. It’s not possible and as society evolves it is undesirable. Man and woman must become equal but it leaves a big void every aspiring great man can’t afford to avoid this thorny issue of sexuality because in the end it will take his life less in the physical sense and more in the emotional sense.

This man hood is a phase of life one must go through to reach complete awareness. The question is: at what cost?

Another important question is: can you get out of this phase when it’s time and before it becomes an addiction?

Being in the service industry, I am shocked every time when people claiming to be vip or vvip, rich, powerful try to get the selling price down, that also ridiculously Low as if they were going to die without those discounts.

I suspect that they were unable to grow out of the poverty mentality that they must have come from. When I was young I was poor and bargaining a few percentage off would mean I could buy something else essential or even that I wouldn’t have to walk back home because I couldn’t afford the bus or that I would have to skip a meal because I didn’t have the money.

I grew out of this mentality consciously. It was hard work and meticulous.
